Site work and paving for a civil project in Ivanhoe, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of February 21,025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** This contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization 2. Traffic Control - barricades, signs, traffic detours, etc. 3. SW3P - preparation, maintenance, and removal 4. Construction Materials Testing 5. Prepare Right-of-Way 6. Design, Engineer, and Construct Temporary Special Shoring 7. Primary Spillway Structure - Install Concrete Box Culverts (5'x5'), reinforced concrete intake structure, reinforced concrete wingwall structure 8. Construct Filter Diaphragm 9. Excavate Proposed Outfall Ditch 10. Install 12" Stone Rip Rap 11. Remove Existing Service & Emergency Spillways - all components in their entirety 12. Re-Grade Existing Outfall Ditch 13. Install Vegetated Geotextile 14. Excavate and/or Mill and Remove 12" of Existing Asphalt & Flex Base 15. Excavation 16. Embankment/Placement of Structural Fills 17. Proof Rolling 18. 6" Crushed Limestone Base (Type A, Grade 1-2) 19. Asphaltic Prime Coat (0.20 gal/sy) 20. 2" Hot-Mix Asphalt Concrete (Type D) 21. Small Roadside Sign Assembly Installation 22. Pavement Striping and Reflectors 23. Permanent Hydromulch Seeding Question Deadline 01/27/2025 at 12:00 PM CT A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Ivanhoe, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. This project will be financed with assistance from the General Land Office (GLO) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant -Most Impacted and Distressed (CDBG-MID) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas General Land Office, Disaster Recovery and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the City Section 3 Policy is required for contracts and subcontracts in excess of $100,000.00. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor as well as having an active online . Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. Ivanhoe, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Ivanhoe for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
