Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Farmington, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Create a signature regional park surrounding and enhancing the Animas River Trail, Farmington Museum and Convention & Visitors Bureau with public amenities and private partnership opportunities. Phase I will include open public spaces, a large, covered pavilion/market area for the Farmers Market and festivals, improved performance and event space adjacent to the river. Phase II will include river access and amenities for a proposed whitewater feature, outdoor art and classroom areas, and trailhead parking. Private/public partnership opportunities include a river-view restaurant and smaller commercial spaces enhancing the park and river spaces. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 14, 2025, project is funded for FY2026. Phase II has not started yet. Per owner, there is no further information or updates on this project since it is still with PRCA and they are still working out the funding and details. Since they are already half-way through the budget year, they may not see this project go out for RFQP for several months if not until FY2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
