South George Washington Way Intersection Improvements Specifically, Hardware Required for the Illumination, Signaling, and Signing of the Project. Full Notice to Proceed Will Be Given After Confirmation of Delivery Times for Long Lead Items is Confirmed With Construction Expected to Be Completed Within One Construction Season Ending in Fall of 2025 This Contract Provides Infrastructure Improvements Within the City of Richland Along George Washington Way 1450 Feet South of the Intersection at Columbia Point Drive North to Comstock Street and Along Aaron Drive, Adams Street, and Columbia Point Boulevard. Work Includes Sawcutting and Removing Concrete Curbs, Gutters, Driveways, and Sidewalks, as Well as Asphalt Pavement; Installing Stormwater Systems for Collection and Conveyance of Road Runoff; Removing Existing Retaining Walls and Installing New Gravity Block Walls; Installing Cement Concrete Curbs, Gutters, Driveways, Sidewalks, a Truck Apron, a Bike Ramp, and Ada Facilities; Removing and Installing Illumination, Traffic Signals, Landscaping, Pavement Markings, and Permanent Signing; Restoring Disturbed Areas; Traffic Control; and Other Work. It is the Intent of the City to Award the Contract to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder. The City Anticipates That Notice of Award Will Occur in Early 2025, Within 30 Days of Project Bid Opening. Upon Fully Executing a Contract for This Work, the City Will Provide a Limited Notice to Proceed to Facilitate the Procurement of Items With Long Lead Times. If Unable to Reach Public Purchase, Contact the City Purchasing Division at 509-942-7710. The City of Richland, in Accordance With Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.s.c. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Ensure That in Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full and Fair Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, or National Origin in Consideration for an Award.
