Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Summit Township, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Construction of a new 85-foot clear span prestressed concrete NU-Girder bridge. Installation of riprap, guardrail and permanent erosion control will also be included along with any other incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. All bidders must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) at least seven (7) days prior to the bid opening date. All bids shall be submitted as a hard copy. The Greene County Highway Department assumes no liability for mailed or shipped bids failing to arrive prior to the closing of bids. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Bates County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 4%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. MODOT - NE County Road 13004 Bridge Replacement Question Deadline 02/04/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract documents shall be submitted to the Design Professional in writing.
