472/24395.ABG; Chippewa CF - Control Door Lock Upgrades PROJECT ADDRESS (if applicable) 4269 West M-80, Kincheloe, MI 49788 The Chippewa Correctional Facility wants to replace existing doors, frames, hardware and lock control system throughout various campus buildings - please see the attached floor plans which depict the door locations to be replaced. The Professional Services Contractor (PSC) is to provide a proposal for Phase 500 Final Design and Phase 600/700 Construction Administration services to field investigate and document the existing door conditions, develop plans/specifications to replace the scheduled security door locations and replace the security control system at each unit. Note that the security doors are essential security and access/egress to daily facility operation, and operation of the entire facility will be sensitive to and affected by work in these areas. Consequently, the replacement of the doors will likely be required to be done one-at-a-time and sequentially. Limitations on the duration of security door area downtime during construction will be required and strict compliance maintained. Please do not submit online questions via VSS.
