The Town of Fort Erie (the "Town") has a requirement for an experience qualified proponent to provide reliable monitoring and reports for the execution of Phase 1 Waterwater Flow Monitoring Services throughout the Town of Fort Erie. The phase 1 study consists of a Town wide flow monitoring data collection for the present Water & Wastewater Master plan study combined with Pre-Flow Monitoring. The successful proponent is to provide all necessary calibrated flow monitoring and communications equipment to accurately and continuously measure sanitary sewer flows throughout phase 1 of this assignment with an option of extending the contract for three (3) additional phases. Contractor shall have full responsibility of its employee's safety and providing appropriate safety equipment. The ownership of the monitors and associated equipment will reside with the successful proponent. The successful proponent will commence wastewater flow monitoring of the collection system on April 1st, 2025, and will be responsible for the supply and installation of monitoring equipment, operating the monitoring system, inspecting the equipment, maintaining monitoring equipment, capturing data, processing data, providing data storage on a hosted website and providing a report and monitoring data to the Town. The successful proponent will need to make the corresponding data accessible to the Town for download through a website. It is anticipated the phase 2 will be completed in spring of 2026, phase 3 in 2027 and phase 4 in 2028. Should additional funding become available the Town may consider expediting phase 2, Phase 3 and phase 4.
