Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) seeks to upgrade its video network infrastructure to support live television and video streaming (via a pre-existing single-mode OS2 fiber trunk) between multiple designated venues, two of which will house redundantly capable TV control rooms. These venues are Alumni Coliseum, Roy Kidd Stadium, Greg Earle Combs Stadium, Gertrude Hood Field, the Adams Building, the Soccer Field, EKU Center for the Arts, and the Perkins Building. Control rooms will reside in Alumni Coliseum and Perkins. This shall be an expandable hybrid system that will adhere to SMPTE ST 2110 standards for AV-over-IP while simultaneously accommodating legacy baseband and analog equipment such as cameras, decks, closedcaptioners, routers, audio mixers, etc. This network will be distinct from EKU's existing IT data network, except for a point of connection for occasional software/firmware updates and when hardware maintenance is required. The Contract shall be renewable for up to four (4) consecutive one (1) year renewal periods. The total contract period will not exceed five (5) years, subject to KRS 45A145. Annual renewal will be contingent upon the University's needs and satisfaction with the services performed and the overall performance of the Contractor. The University reserves the right to renegotiate any term and/or condition as may be necessary to meet requirements for any renewal period. The Successful Offeror will be advised of any proposed revisions prior to the renewal period. This project is subject to funding and and the University may opt to close without award.
