The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is currently accepting proposals from contractors for the renovation of the Lake Reba Soccer Restrooms. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from various candidate organizations, conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the candidate who best represents the direction the Richmond Parks & Recreation Department wishes to pursue. Evaluation of proposals will be conducted on or about -January 22, 2025 through January 29, 2025. If additional information or discussions are needed with any bidders during this window, the bidder(s) will be notified. The estimated date for the finalized decision for the winning bidder will be made no later than January 30, 2025. January 28- Commission Meeting Approval February 10- Renovations Begin March 31- Renovations Complete The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Elements and/or tasks may be added or deleted at the discretion of the City of Richmond pending negotiation of the scope of work and compensation with the selected vendor. The City reserves the right to have an independent engineer, retained by the City, assist us in oversight of this project. If the City was to retain an independent engineer this would not absolve the awarded company from ensuring proper inspection and engineering standards on the project via their company.
