Eastern Kentucky University is issuing this invitation to bid to develop price contracts with one or more Successful Bidders to provide low voltage wire & jack installation on an as needed basis. Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is seeking qualified companies to provide Low Voltage Wire and Jack Installation Services as needed for the University. Work will include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary. The price contract(s) awarded from this solicitation are to fill the University's needs on smaller projects. The University may continue to solicit quotes or competitively bid certain projects when it is in the best interest of the University or required by policy. The hourly rates or "per installation" provided must be all inclusive and reflect the cost of tools, trucks and mileage. Upon award of a contract, invoices will be required to itemize hourly rates, per installation rates and material costs (if applicable) .The rates bid will be fixed for one year from the time of award of contract. There is no guarantee as to the total hours to be worked. If deemed in the best interest of the University, the University reserves the right to award the bid in part or in whole and to award multiple vendors. Any awarded contract will be non-exclusive. CONTRACT TERM EKU seeks a contract resulting from this bid to have an initial term from the award date through November 30, 2025. The contract shall be renewable on an annual basis for up to four (4) consecutive one (1) year renewal periods. The total contract period will not exceed five (5) years, subject to KRS 45A.145. Annual renewal will be contingent upon the University's needs and satisfaction with the services performed and the overall performance of the Contractor. The University reserves the right to renegotiate any term and/or condition as may be necessary to meet requirements for any renewal period.
