**As of February 21, 2025, the project was awarded to Public Media Engineering LLC, with an awarded amount of $58,665.00.** Eastern Kentucky University is seeking bids from qualified vendors to install new transmitter equipment and DAS emergency alert box at one of the University's WEKU Radio towers located in Richmond, KY. This invitation is for the installation of WEKU transmitter equipment and DAS emergency alert box as specified in this solicitation. The project also includes the removal of the backup transmitter at site location and bringing it to EKU's main campus in Richmond, KY. The site location is Igo Road, Richmond, KY 40475. The road to the transmitter is paved. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the project outlined throughout the solicitation event. The list of transmitter equipment to be installed is uploaded under the "Buyer Attachments" tab of this solicitation. The DAS emergency alert box is not part of the list; however is part of the install project. The equipment itself is being purchased separately and should not be included in the bid price of this solicitation --- The University is asking for the price of installation and backup removal/transport ONLY. Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University, along with coordination of WEKU Management. A point of contact for WEKU Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. Eastern Kentucky University reserves the right to award in part or in whole and to award multiple suppliers/contracts if in the best interest of the university.
