Site work for a water / sewer project in Hilliard, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project aims to update water lines in Old Hilliard to facilitate redevelopment and provide adequate fire protection. Phase 1 (2024/2025) constructs a water line and associated fire hydrants along Franklin Street, Grant Street, and Center Street near the Hilliard Winery, the Hilliard Cultural Arts Center, the Westwood Junction, and the Makoy Center. Phase 1 is approximately 1,350 feet of 8-inch water line. Funding for 2025 Phase I construction is in addition to $518,000 that was budgeted for this project in 2024. Phase 2 will install a new waterline on Wayne Street between Norwich and Center Streets and move house services on other portions of Wayne Street to an existing 12" watermain. 2025 - Phase 1 & 2 Water Line Construction (Phase 1) Design (Phase 2) 2026 - Phase 2 Water Line As of February 10, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
