** As of March 21,2025 project has been awarded to Peters Concrete Company with an amount of $836,507.85.** Site Address: VFW Park City: Town of Freedom County: Outagamie State/Province: WI Question Deadline 02/21/2025 Description: The Project includes the following Work: The base bid includes site grading and topsoil placement; baseball/softball diamond improvements including unclassified excavation, grading, field surface, underdrain, cast-in-place backstop wall and netting, fencing, dugout structures, and field equipment; diamond lighting, pathway lighting, and miscellaneous electrical installation; construction of storm sewer, water service, concrete curb and gutter, dense graded base, asphalt pavement, and concrete pavement. The bid alternates includes replacing asphalt pavement from the base bid with concrete pavement, replacing the outfield seeding with sod, and replacing the dugout roof structure with a block wall dugout and roof. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages.
