Battelle seeks ASP-registered and qualified General Contractors for renovation of the Plutonium Metal Glove Box Laboratory and other spaces at the Radiochemical Processing Laboratory. The work consists of renovating multiple spaces, including replacement of walls, doors, flooring, ceiling, overhead lighting, casework, HVAC components, and modifying facility and electrical services. The scope includes demolishing and preparing for disposal, four radiologically contaminated gloveboxes, one fume hood, connecting exhaust ducting, and HEPA filter assemblies. This above Summary of Work is not all inclusive of the requirements set forth under the terms of the Contract. Contractor shall refer to the Specification and Drawings issued which depict the Work in detail. 2. INQUIRIES & SUBMISSION OF OFFERS 2.1. All inquiries must be submitted in writing by email. 2.2. Proposals and modifications must be submitted by email. 2.3. Proposals must contain the following completed documents: o Solicitation, Offer & Award Form o Representations & Certifications o Construction Pricing Form o Proof of Certificate of Liability Insurance o Copy of Offeror's Washington State Contractor's License o Bid Bond o Technical proposal that includes the following: Brief narrative of technical qualifications of contractor and major subcontractors, including experience with moving items like heavy, high-CG laboratory equipment (a glovebox of approximately 18,000 pounds and other items of similar nature, for this work scope). A current, uncontrolled copy of Offeror's QA plan or program, including implementing procedures. o Prime and all subcontractors must flow down HSSA, provide documentation, and Davis Bacon reporting is applicable to this action including monthly injury/illness reports. 2.4. Failure to submit all of the above required documents with your proposal may cause your proposal to be determined non-responsive and removed from consideration for award.
