Low Pressure Sewer System General Construction Services It is the Districts intent and the purpose of these specifications to secure licensed underground utility contractors on an as needed basis for low pressure sewer system construction services. All work shall be in compliance with the solicitation documents, the Loxahatchee River District Manual of Minimum Construction Standards and Technical Specifications (refer to Exhibit A included herein), all applicable local, state and Federal laws and regulations including the Occupational Safety and Health Act Administration (OSHA), including all costs of permits and cost of regulatory compliance. Additionally, this contract includes as-needed on-call or emergency services that will utilize the labor and equipment rates included in this contract with a 1.5 multiplier for labor and equipment only. Materials and sub-contractor work shall be paid on cost plus 15% mark-up basis for all work items. The District reserves the right to determine material elements of the Bid and to award the Contract, if at all, to the lowest, qualified, responsive, and responsible Bidder. The District further reserves the right to reject any and all Bids; to not proceed with the Project; and/or to waive any irregularities contained in a Bid. The Bid Documents are made available on the above terms solely for the purpose of obtaining Bids and do not confer a license or grant for any other use. Character and amount of security to be furnished by each Bidder are stated in the Instruction to Bidders. The Bidder shall hold its Bid open for acceptance by the District for a period of not less than ninety (90) calendar days following the date of the Bid opening.
