Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Puyallup, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The runway has reached the end of its lifecycle and is due for reconstruction. While the design will not be finalized until March, the following features are expected to be included. The runway will be rebuilt and widened to 75 feet. The length will remain at 3,650 feet. Other features include improved drainage, replacement of the PAPI (precision approach path indicator) lighting, new lighting (likely LED), the realignment of two taxiway connectors, and repaving for all the connectors. The windsock, segmented circle, and wind tee will be relocated. As of December 15, 2025, this project is in the design phase. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2026.
