Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Mediapolis, Iowa. Completed plans call for the addition of a 16,100-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. The project is a new 16,100 sf addition to the elementary school on the north side of Mediapolis Community School, including six classrooms and a multi-purpose room. The site work includes a new parking lot and playground. There are minor renovations to the existing school where the addition connects to it and renovation of existing classrooms into a new library. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Question Deadline 03/06/2025 Every request for an interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed and forwarded to the Design Professional not later than seven (7) calendar days before the date fixed for opening of bids. Construction of a new elementary and gym addition at the Mediapolis Community School District. The intention is to award and issue notice to proceed on or before March 28, 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 5% in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the same amount. The right to reject any or all bids and to waive and irregularities is reserved by the Mediapolis Community School District Board of Education
