As of March 28, 2025, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. The work includes the construction of approximately: 205 1 145 266 1 1 205 CY LS LF LF EXCAVATION REMOVE EXISTING TIMBER STAIRCASE 4'-6" WIDTH TIMBER STAIR 8'-0" WIDTH TIMBER STAIR EACH LS CY BENCH EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURAL BACKFILL together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must not begin prior to May 27, 2025, and must be complete by August 28, 2025. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming Carver County as oblige, certified check payable to the Carver County Treasurer or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the County in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The County reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set of the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set of the opening of bids. The Carver County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the County.
