Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Excelsior, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The work includes the construction of approximately: 380 CY EXCAVATION 65 EMBANKMENT 147 LF 4’-6” WIDTH TIMBER STAIR 1 LS EROSION CONTROL & TURF ESTABLISHMENT 35 CY STRUCTURAL BACKFILL 180 CY AGGREGATE (CLASS 5) 510 SY GEOTEXTILE TYPE 5 Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming Carver County as oblige, certified check payable to the Carver County Treasurer or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the County in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. All work under the Contract must not begin prior to May 26, 2026, and must be complete by September 4, 2026. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing to the Issuing Office. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: Question Deadline 04/13/2026 The Carver County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the County.
