As of September 10, 2025, this project has been awarded. This project comprises a comprehensive upgrade to the exiting sports field lighting infrastructure across multiple city sports fields in City Parks. The work includes, but is not limited to site preparation, safe removal and disposal of existing fixtures (including PCB management), installation of new pole to Diamond 3, and the installation of code-compliant LED lighting to Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) standards. Thorough testing and commissioning, coupled with stringent safety protocols. The following key components will be addressed in the project however the Bidding Documents will contain the full description of the Work. A. Site Assessment and Survey B. Design and Planning C. Procurement of Materials D. Demolition and Removal of Existing Equip E. Installation of LED Lighting System F. Install One (1) New Pole G. Use of existing electrical wiring or rewiring as necessary H. Testing and Commissioning I. Safety Compliance and Quality Assurance J. Documentation and Handover. Cash, cashiers check or certified check, payable to the order of the City of San Bruno, of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, or a bond in said amount payable to the City of San Bruno and signed by the Bidder and a corporate surety shall accompany the bid. The following are licenses are required to bid on this contract: California Class A General Engineering Contractor C-10 Electrical Contractor License Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract All work under this contract shall be completed within 100 working days from the Notice to Proceed effective date. The City shall assess liquidated damages in the amount of $500 per Working Day for delays in completion of the project, as provided in the Contract Documents.
