Storm Drain Master Plan Update The City owns and operates a storm drain system that covers six main watersheds. The system in general flows from the west of Highway 280 to the east towards the San Bruno Channel. The system has four closed conduit outlets to San Bruno Channel. Two of them are gravity outlets at Pine Street and Cupid Row. The other two are pressure systems via the Walnut Pump Station and the Angus Pump Station constructed and owned by the San Mateo County Flood and Sea Level Rise Resiliency District (OneShoreline). Scope: The Storm Drain Master Plan Update will require the selected consultant (Consultant) to perform the following tasks: Project Management and Coordination Data Collection and Review Flow Monitoring Hydrologic and Hydraulic Model Development Develop Capacity Improvement Projects Integrate Information Collected from the City's Separate Storm Drain Condition Assessment into the Master Plan Update Develop Long-Range Capital Improvement Plan Prepare the Update to the Storm Drain Master Plan PURPOSE OF THIS RFP The City, through the Public Works Department, seeks to retain professional engineering services to develop, prepare, and complete an update of its 2014 Storm Drain Master Plan. Consultants are urged to submit concise proposals, appropriate to the scale of the project and include only items that are relevant to this specific project. The Fee Proposal shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope marked "Fee Proposal for Storm Drain Master Plan Update". The City may open multiple envelopes at its sole discretion. The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses received as a result of this solicitation; to extend the submission due date; to modify, amend, reissue or rewrite this document; and to procure any or all services by other means. The City will not be liable for any costs incurred by the consulting firms incidental to the preparation of proposals or for developing and carrying out interview presentations, if needed. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the terms and conditions in this RFP and Sealed Fee Proposal unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted and confirmed in the contract between the City and the firm selected. If any changes or updates to the RFP are made, a copy of the current RFP will be posted online. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
