Site work and paving for a road / highway in Swanton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project includes the following Work: Extension of sanitary sewer on Munson Road in Swanton, Ohio, from Airport Highway to Garfield Avenue, as well as resurfacing of Munson Road from Airport Highway to Street. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Munson Road Improvements. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-Qualification status must be in force at the time of the bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the Village of Swanton, Ohio, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The Village of Swanton, Ohio, reserves the right pursuant to ORC.9.312 to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-material irregularity in determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
