Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Water Infrastructure Improvements The scope of the project shall consist of the following generally described work: Peach County Water Infrastructure Improvements: Contract A: 750,000-gallon elevated water tank - Complete The scope of work in Contract A includes construction of a new 750,000-gallon elevated water storage tank along GA Hwy 49/Peach Parkway in Peach County, GA., within the proposed Peach Parkway water treatment compound. The work in Contract A includes permitting, clearing, grassing, earthwork, grading, erosion control, gravel access driveway, a new 750,000-gallon elevated storage tank, painting, piping, fittings, valves, wiring, electrical components, SCADA, and all necessary material, labor, and appurtenances associated with a complete new elevated water storage tank as shown on the plans and in the specifications. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability." Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond The Fort Valley Utility Commission (FVUC) reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and/or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part if FVUC determines that cancellation and/or rejections are advantageous to the Commission. Proposals are legal and binding upon the Respondent when submitted. It will also be the responsibility of each Bidder to obtain any addenda issued for the project. The written documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties. Last day for Questions to submit in writing shall be Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM. This project is federally and state funded through the Water and Sewer Infrastructure, State Fiscal Recovery Funds (SFRF) program under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA). The Project is eligible through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and will be required to comply with the Clean Water Act and applicable state and local laws.
