Renovation of a residential development in Chelan, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permits to construct energy upgrades at two (2) resident homes at the Department's Chelan Hatchery, located at 77 Beebe Fish Hatchery Rd., and 79 Beebe Fish Hatchery Rd., Chelan Falls, Washington 98817, GPS Coordinates 47.82151, -119.97621, in Grant County. If the project is estimated at or above one million dollars, a mandatory 15 percent Apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of this contract. The Apprenticeship Utilization Requirements are identified in Section 00100 Instructions To Bidder. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Programs. Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding as prime contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers. Bid Guarantee: For bids of $35,000 or less, no bid guarantee is required. Bids greater than $35,000 shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife in an amount equal to at least five-percent of the bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if Bid Guarantee: For bids of $35,000 or less, no bid guarantee is required. Bids greater than $35,000 shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife in an amount equal to at least five-percent of the bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and give separate bond as required the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and give separate bond as required. All bids may be held 45 calendar days from bid opening date. At the end of this period, the three lowest bids may be retained for 15 additional days, or as may be further extended by the Owner with the approval of the bidding companies. A. Base bids $150,000 or less, Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractor's Surety, unless the Contractor agrees Owner may, in lieu of the bond(s), retain 10 percent of the Contract Sum for the period allowed by RCW 39.08.010. Questions resulting in changes to the scope or nature of the drawings, specifications, or bid documents will be answered by addendum/addenda reflective of the Owner's process. Product substitution requests during bidding will only be considered based on availability issues or other extenuating circumstances. The Owner may NOT answer questions received after 2:00 p.m. five business days prior to the bid opening. The Owner will target answering questions no later than two business days prior to the bid opening. All addenda issued are part of the bid documents. The Owner will not be responsible for any oral interpretations. Substantial Completion shall be achieved by June 16, 2025. Final Completion shall be achieved by June 23, 2025. The undersigned agrees to pay the Owner as liquidated damages the sum of $235 for each consecutive calendar day that is in default after the Contract Time. Liquidated damages shall be deducted from the Contract by Change Order.
