The existing units, Clivus Multrum Model 15 composting toilets, are deteriorating and pose health and safety risks due to exposure to human waste. The objective is to replace these units with new roto-molded poly composting toilets to ensure a safe and sanitary working environment for the concessionaire. The Forest Service is requesting a Brand Name or Equal for the replacement units. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract and is 100% set aside for Small Business. Period of Performance: 09/15/2025 to 11/03/2026 This project will replace the three composting toilet fiberglass structures located in the basement of the Fields Point Landing building. These old composting toilets are failing and pose a health and human safety risk to the staff at Fields Point due to exposure to human waste. The objective is to remove the old failing units from the basement at Fields Point and replace them with new poly units to allow for a healthy and safe working environment for our concessionaire. The goal is to remove the health and safety concerns of exposure to human waste by the concessionaire staff and to provide the thousands of annual users of Fields Point Landing with functional restroom facilities.
