he preliminary base bid estimate is approximately $850.000.00. In accordance with state law, bidders are required to have a current Washington State contractor's license at the time of submitting bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond with a State Licensed Surety, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid. This surety shall be forfeited in event of failure by the successful bidder to sign a contract or to furnish the necessary one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond. Lake Chelan School District reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, and to waive bidding informalities.
