Site work for a water / sewer project in Moline, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project work includes lining of existing storm and sanitary sewer mains throughout the City of Moline As per 820 ILCS 130/1, prevailing wages shall be required for this project. Question Cut Off Date 4/14/2025 11:00:00 AM (CT) Question received above date and time. Add the following paragraphs to this Article: The Contractor shall have the final responsibility for establishment of a close, healthy stand of grass. No extra compensation will be allowed in the event all or part of the area must be reseeded, including areas damaged by erosion. At time of final acceptance, all seeded areas shall be free of weeds. This item shall include all work necessary for the installation of an erosion control product. The Contractor shall provide and install Futerra Environet, or equivalent. If the Contractor chooses to install an equivalent product, a sample and spec sheet shall be provided to the Engineer a minimum of 2 weeks before product installation. The Contractor shall take the utmost care to minimize damage to the existing landscape adjacent to the work area. The Contractor shall return the construction area to the preconstruction condition by backfilling with topsoil free of sod clumps, concrete, or rocks and seeding with Class 1 Lawn Mix. The Contractor shall also be responsible for all lawn restoration of areas disturbed by construction operations adjacent to new construction and caused by the proposed pavement width.
