Noeland Avenue Sidewalk Construction to Borough Streets Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and the Instructions for Submitting Electronic Bids set forth in the Bid Packet, including, but not limited to, a Bid Bond (issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in Pennsylvania), Bank Money Order, or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to PB; an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds will be provided by the Successful Bidder to PB upon the awarding of the Bid; and proof of insurance as required by the Contract Documents. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Noeland Avenue Sidewalk and Driveway Apron Construction Install two new accessible ramps at the intersection of Crescent Street and Noeland Avenue per the project plan. Install 4-inch-thick cement concrete sidewalk per the project plans. Install 6-inch-thick wire reinforced cement concrete driveway aprons per the project plan. Sawcut existing curb line where necessary to match sidewalk profile and seal fresh cut with SikaTop@-121 or approved equal. Remove and replace cracked, settled or damaged sidewalk (approximately 240 SF) and driveway apron sections (approximately 70 SF) as field marked by the Engineer. Restore asphalt pavement surfaces as necessary to match new sidewalk. Restore and vegetate lawn areas disturbed by sidewalk installation. Work Zone Traffic Control as necessary to support Noeland Avenue Sidewalk Construction. Project work shall not commence prior to August 1, 2025 and shall be completed before November 15, 2025. Should private property owners complete portions of this work prior to August 1, 2025, quantities will be adjusted as described in Instructions to Bidders Section 30, "QUANTITY VARIATIONS."
