The CMSD is interested in creating an outdoor play space at the Dike School of the Arts in Cleveland, OH. This outdoor equipment and poured in place surface will add to the district's portfolio of newly installed outdoor play structures. The equipment provides play options for our students and supports socialization while fostering creativity. The District is a large urban school system with over 100 instructional and non-instructional sites, approximately 6,000 teachers and administrative staff, 36,000 District students, and 3,500 classrooms. This outdoor equipment and poured in place surface will add to the district's portfolio of newly installed outdoor play structures. The equipment provides play options for our students and supports socialization while fostering creativity. Cleveland is Ohio's third-largest public school district and serves more than 36,000 students. Along with providing a high-quality education, Dike School of the Arts future playground will encourage active and imaginative play. The new playground will be located in the center of the school within the outdoor courtyard that is anchored on both sides with several mature trees. No response may be withdrawn for at least ninety(90) days after receipt of bids. The District reserves the right to award the bid in whole or in parts, by item, by group of items, to a single service provider or to multiple service providers, where such action serves the best interests of the District. CMSD reserves the right to reject all bids and deviate from this purchasing process to utilize other purchasing mechanisms available to the district under Ohio Law. Scope review and follow-up discussions with the apparent low bidder may be requested. CMSD reserves the right to interview or to seek additional information related to criteria already specified in the Invitation to Bid after opening the bids prior to issuance a certified Purchase Order or Supplier Contract.
