DBE project goal for this project is 4.40% Rehabilitation of Portions of Taxiway 'C' and Taxiway 'G' The work generally consists of pavement rehabilitation on portions of Taxiway 'C' and Taxiway 'G' at Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport. Items of work include installation and maintenance of airfield safety equipment, pavement milling, placement of new P-401 airport bituminous concrete pavement, new airfield pavement markings, and other associated work. The project includes a Base Bid only. Prevailing wage rates apply, including compliance with Federal and State minimum wage rates and the current City of Burlington Livable Wage Ordinance. Bidders must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. A Federal DBE participation goal is included in the Contract. The project is sales tax exempt Technical questions during the bid period shall be directed in writing to Stu Moncrieff at Jacobs (Phone: 603-496-9267, e-mail: stu.moncrieff@jacobs.com) no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Responses to submitted technical questions will be answered via Addendum no later than 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 21, 2025. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Bid Documents. The Owner's intent is to award the Contract to the responsive bidder with the lowest Base Bid price within 180 days of the bid opening. A notice-to-proceed will follow, with construction planned to begin in the Spring of 2026. The City of Burlington, VT, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award.
