Performance and Payment Bonds The following bonds or securities shall be secured by the Contractor upon full execution of this Agreement whenever the contract award exceeds $50,000. These bonds or securities shall be included in this Agreement and become binding on the parties. A. A performance bond satisfactory to the County, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Michigan or otherwise secured in a manner satisfactory to the County, in an amount equal to 100% of the price specified in this Agreement; and B. A payment bond satisfactory to the County, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Michigan or otherwise secured in a manner satisfactory to the County, for the protection of all persons supplying labor and material to the Contractor or its subcontractors for the performance of the work provided for in this Agreement. The bonds shall be an amount equal to 100% of the price specified in this Agreement. Withdrawal of Proposals A written request for the withdrawal of a proposal or any part thereof will be granted if the request is received by the Project Management Specialist prior to the specified proposal due date and time. Proposals, amendments thereto, or requests for withdrawal of proposals received by the Project Management Specialist after the specified proposal due date and time will not be considered.
