A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Lake County, by and through its Board of County Commissioners, will receive sealed proposals for the operation and maintenance of: CALUMET TOWNSHIP STEP CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CONSTRUCTION PACKAGE 1 LIFT STATION AND COLLECTION SYSTEM-LAKE COUNTY, INDIANA Any Proposals received after the above designated time will be returned unopened. All prospective prime contractors, subcontractors,small, minority or women owned enterprises and other interested parties are encouraged to attend the Pre-Proposal Conference. For special accommodations required for handicapped individuals planning to attend the Pre-Proposal Conference or Public Proposal opening meeting, please call or notify the Lake County Highway Department at (219) 663-0525 at least forty-eight (48) hours prior thereto. The project consists of performance of the duties associated with the operations and maintenance of the wastewater collection system and lift station installed in Construction Package No. 1 in Lake County Indiana. The collection system and associated lift station are scheduled to go active by the end of June, 2025. Onehard copy of all required original documents, signed and sealed as needed shall be submitted by proposer. A separate copy of the bid form, drug testing policy, and financial documents shall be provided on paper or electronically within the bid packet submitted by bidder to the office of the Lake County Auditor. Proposals may beheld by the Board of Commissioners for a period not to exceed Sixty (60) days from the date of the opening. The successful Contractor will be required to be licensed and bonded within Lake County in accordance with the permitted Contractor documentation available from the county, No Contractor may withdraw his proposal within sixty days (60) after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technical or irregularities therein, to delete any item or items and to award a contract on the proposal that in their judgment is most advantageous to Lake County.
