** As of July 30, 2025, project was awarded to Gatlin Plumbing & Heating Inc. with an awarded amount of $1,950,000 ** This project consists of the furnishing and installation of all equipment, labor, and materials for the sanitary sewer construction including relevant residential sewage collection systems, pump stations and mainline connections in Center Township, Lake County, IN. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form and must be accompanied by an Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, signed copies of Addenda (if issued), and satisfactory bid security, as set forth in the Project Documents. A certified or cashiers check payable to the Lake County Board of Commissioners or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. Bid security may be retained by the Board for a period of not-to-exceed thirty (30) days for all bidders and not-to-exceed sixty (60) days for the Bidder given tentative award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to provide separate Performance and Labor and Material Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of the type of facilities to be constructed under the contract for which a bid is submitted. Bidders shall complete Bid Form 96, Section 00751, Financial Questionnaire and provide Financial Statement which are to be submitted with their bid. The Lake County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
