This project consists of an interior remodel to convert the existing 122 SF ground floor storage room into a single occupancy unisex ADA restroom and shower, with a new tanked electric water heater heat pump at ground floor hallway. Two ductless multi-split heat pump systems to condition the entire building are proposed, with removal of existing attic mounted furnace. Close off existing ductwork at second story attic, and all appurtenant work as shown and described in the contract documents with the title of CORPORTATION YARD LOCKER ROOM PROJECT PHASE 1 and on file in the office of the Public Works Director. Work under this Contract is to be completed in SIXTY (60) working days. Class "B" Contractor's Licenses is required for bidders to bid on this project. If a bidder does not have the required license classifications, the bidder's bid proposal shall be considered as non-responsive and the bid will be rejected. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professional Code. A Bid Deposit equals to at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid shall be placed in the sealed proposal. The Bid Deposit shall be in one of the following forms: cash, cashier's check, or certified check payable to the Town, or bidder's bond in favor of the Town executed by an authorized surety company. Performance guaranty bonds as set forth in Section 4-2 of the Special Provisions will be required from the successful bidder. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Town may require, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality or minor irregularity in the bids.
