Reference Number 0000385368 Bid Intent Not Available Delivery Point: Las Animas County Las Animas County is seeking sealed bids from qualified Bidders/Contractors for the installation of an exterior 20' x 12' rolling steel service door with baffle hood at our Trinidad Road and Bridge Shop, old Armory Building, at 2000 North Linden Ave., Trinidad, Colorado. Bid award shall be predicated on the offer of the lowest, responsible lump sum bid within the limits of County funds available and to best serve the County's interests. The Bidder shall coordinate with County regarding a start date and complete the work no later than 5 PM, October 31, 2025, unless a change order allowing for an extension has been authorized by the County. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any minor informality or irregularity in bids received which, in the Board's opinion, do not affect the general intent of the bid nor prejudice other Bidders. In addition, the Board can reject, for good and compelling reasons, any and all bids received. Conditional bids, or those which take exception to bid specifications detailed herein, may be rejected. Material Specifications Rolling steel service door system, 20 ga., with seals, exterior mount, 240v operator with brake and auxiliary hand chain installed thru the wall so access to it is from inside the building, 72" light curtains, 4 wire monitored edge for safety entrapment, and white in color. Electric motor shall, at a minimum, meet all door manufacturer's requirements. Overall installation, including electrical, shall meet all of the latest codes, standards, etc. Door must support a duty cycle of at least 25 cycles/hour and 90 cycles/day. Documentation will be provided assuring installed door will meet this requirement.
