The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 1,305m of 150mm-200mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless method; (b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (c) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (d) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; (e) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; and (f) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas. Completion of all Work on Mountain Avenue, including testing, final tie-ins and restorations, to be completed by August 29, 2025 to allow for local road construction by others. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price, and agreement to bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba.
