Reference Number 0000292892 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of repairs/upgrades to manholes on the SLA. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Replacement of the Mile 93.69 manhole on the SLA complete with a new access platform and bridging structure; (b) Replacement of the Inflatable Dam at Mile 93.69 on the SLA; and, (c) Repair of the Manhole at Mile 94.72 on the SLA. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price, and agreement to bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba (a) a performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, Form_H1_Performance_Bond , in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and (b) a labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, Form_H2_Labour_and_Material_Bond , in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. The Award Authority may reject all or any part of any Bid, or waive technical requirements or minor informalities or irregularities, if the interests of the City so require.
