The Work within the lift station wet well must be commenced and completed within the period of June 1, 2025 to November 30, 2025. Once the lift station has been taken out of service to complete the internal works, the Work must progress without schedule gaps or delay so as to limit the time that sewage flows are to be managed around the lift station. It is anticipated that the existing generator will remain in service until the new generator arrives onsite. The installation and switch over to the new generator is anticipated to be completed within the period of June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026. Construction of a new lift station building, temporary by-pass pumping, demolition of existing lift station internals, installation of a pre-fabricated FRP lift station, electrical and controls. Ready-for-Takeover of all Works are to be completed by July 31, 2026, following the Owner issuing a "Notice to Proceed" and the date specified in the Notice shall be the date of commencement entered into the Agreement. Every bid shall be accompanied with a security deposit consisting of a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid price. The accepted Bidder shall promptly provide and pay for a Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price covering the Performance of the Contract including the requirements of GC 12.3 - Warranty.
