Reference Number 0000292676 Question Acceptance Deadline May 14, 2025 2:00 PM CT Pricing Lump sum RTU 1 at Revenue Canada Warehouse (201 Weston) had failed back in 2021 due to an electrical failure. RTU 2 has also failed as of May of 2023 so currently 2 out of the 9 RTU's are now non-operational. Consequently, the back of the warehouse (EAST Side) no longer has any ventilation, heating or cooling which can be uncomfortable for the occupants. Project is to replace the existing Rooftop units 1 and 2 with new high efficiency indirect natural gas-fired units equipped with new DX cooling including new condensing units. New RTU's to be high efficiency natural gas units (minimum 85% burner efficiency and 17.3 IEER) as recommended and meet or exceed other applicable NECB 2020 requirements. Scope includes disconnection of the old RTU’s from the existing Andover BMS system, recovery and disposal of R22 refrigerant, isolation and disconnection of electrical/gas/ductwork as required, removal of old RTU’s and proper disposal. Crane to be used as required to remove old units and install new RTU’s. Project scope and pricing to include any ancillary cost such as: electrical, piping, controls, equipment rentals, permits, etc to ensure a fully functional system. New RTU’s must be supplied with curb adaptor, hail guard and economizer section, and must be provided with new stand-alone controllers with a user interface. Lastly, the new units should contain low GWP refrigerants (<750) as per most recent Greening Government Strategy if possible.
