Reference Number 0000386252 Job Location: Gunnison, CO The City of Gunnison, Colorado plans to upgrade and replace its existing water treatment plant by using a progressive design/build project delivery method. The new facility is anticipated to be in the estimated cost range of $35 million. We're moving from groundwater supply to treated surface water. A progressive design/build approach has been selected to allow an integrated design/build team to effectively collaborate with the City to develop and implement an optimum new facility in a phased manner. Phase one includes review of existing information, design, and preconstruction. Phase two includes final design, construction, and commissioning and may be subject to federal and state funding terms. The project has developed a 30% design set that may be reviewed and incorporated. The purpose of this Notice of Intent is to (a) provide advanced notice to the design and construction industries of this project opportunity and (b) invite Industry experts to attend an informational session to learn about the project. Site visits will be scheduled after the informational session based on a first come, first served basis. Reservations for optional site access available on a first come, first served basis following the conclusion of the briefing. Site visits will be May 19-22, 2025.
