The City of Rolling Meadows is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to furnish and install exterior service doors at the Rolling Meadows Public Works facility. Interested contractors may request a site walkthrough to measure and photograph the project areas to aid in the estimation process. All work performed for this project is applicable to Prevailing Wage. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a bid bond, executed by a corporate surety company, a bank cashieraEUR(TM)s check or a certified check payable to the aEURoeCity of Rolling MeadowsaEURl3 for not less than five percent (5%) ofthe amount of the proposal. The proposal guaranty checks of all, except the two responsive, responsible proposers which the City determines in its sole discretion to be the proposers with whom the City desires to commence negotiations for a contract, will be returned after the proposals have been checked and tabulated. The proposal guaranty checks of the two responsive, responsible proposers will be returned after the contract and the contract bond ofthe successful proposer have been properly executed and approved. Bid bonds will not be returned. The written questions, along with the CityaEUR(TM)s responses, shall be circulated to all known prospective contractors without identifying the party submitting the questions.
