Site work and paving for a civil project in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

Questions Due: Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 4 p.m. The City of Rolling Meadows (City) invites engineering consulting firms who have experience with Federally funded street and bridge reconstruction projects to submit a Statement of Interest/Qualifications for Engineering Services for Phase II survey, design and preparation of construction plans, specifications, and contract documents of the "Central Road and Bridge Improvement Project", and Phase III Construction Engineering Services. The selection of the consultant will follow the City's Qualifications Based Selection (QBS) Policy. Central Road is a major collector through the heart of the City of Rolling Meadows. The pavement is in poor condition and needs to be reconstructed west of Linden Lane and resurfaced east of Linden Lane to continue to function well for community connectivity. With the large non-motorized population accessing several schools and other community destinations along and near the corridor, there is a strong demand for non-motorized accommodations. From E. Frontage Road to Linden Lane, Central Road will be reconstructed. From Linden Lane to Wilke Road, Central Road will be resurfaced. Intersection improvements are proposed at Barker Avenue and Jay Lane. Additional Items include but are not limited to, curb bump outs, center refuge island at the West Rolling Meadows High School Entrance, storm sewer adjustments, and sidewalk repairs. The south 5-foot-wide sidewalk is proposed to be replaced with an 8-foot-wide multi-use path from E. Frontage Road to Linden Lane, a designated local bike route.
