As of June 27, 2025 Project has not been awarded, No definite date for award The Town of Wausau will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the replacement of the aging emergency electrical generator at well site number two, replacement of the 20-year-old well pump, and replacement of piping from the well to the elevated water storage tank. This project is funded with Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and through the Florida Department of Commerce (formerly DEO) and awarded to the Town of Wausau under CDBG-DR agreement M0106 for recovery from Hurricane Michael and to harden the Town's potable water facilities against the impacts of future storms. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $1,000.00 per day. All Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening.
