looking to purchase bituminous concrete, concrete, stone, sand and various construction materials for use with the Department of Public Works and Highway Department and other variousde partments. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to award any item, groupof items, ortotalbid,and to waive informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of theCityofMeriden.Nobidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. The successful firm(s) shall ensure that any appropriate licenses or certifications requiredbytheStateofConnecticut are maintained for the duration of the project. The firm must meet all municipal, stateandfederalaffirmative action and equal employment opportunity practices The City of Meriden is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
