Professional Services Requested The City is seeking professional services from qualified Applicants ("contractors") to conduct the following tasks by December 2026: o Create initial stage planning documents for two locations along Seldovia's Main Street: site maps, photographs, conceptual sketches, materials lists, etc. Proposed designs will include bioswales, regrading, and stormwater inlets o Develop plan for using native plant species (including sourcing for plants) for all necessary revegetation efforts o After DEC review of initial documents, develop final planning and 100% design documents and construction plans, and draft RFP o Assist City staff with obtaining any required State or Federal permits for bioswale construction o Keep all notes from planning meetings for submission to DEC o Develop descriptions of the project designs and environmental benefit calculations o Provide oversight to contractor(s) who will carry out the actual infrastructure improvements near the Main Street boat ramp, ensuring that work is done in accordance with the design and construction plan o Develop performance summary fact sheet of the completed infrastructure modifications to ensure proper function and environmental benefit, and create written report that includes recommendations for site maintenance and adjustments Site Tours In order to assist the applicant with preparing a successful proposal, site tours of the community are possible (with any potential travel or other associated costs borne by the Applicant). City staff will mark the day and time the envelope was received. One copy of Applicant materials is sufficient. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
