The project involves the purchase of 600 cubic yards of crushed rock material and 600 cubic yards of D1 gravel to be delivered to designated locations within the community. Material may be delivered and stored on the City's waterfront lot behind the value-added building or delivered directly to the project locations at the time of project. Initial project locations include:City of Seldovia - RFP #01-25 Purchase of gravel, crushed rock, and material for roads Kachemak Street Cedar Street and Alder Street corner Bloch Street Harbor parking lot Rocky Street near Frank Raby Street Proposals may include the option to complete desired project work, including placing and repairing the specified project locations. 4. PROJECT TIMELINE o Immediate Delivery for Storage: Material delivery to the City's waterfront lot can commence immediately upon contract award. o Delivery to Project Locations: If the contractor opts for direct delivery to the specified locations, the material placement must be coordinated with the City. o Completion Deadline: The entire project, including delivery, placement, and any optional repair work, must be completed no later than June 2029. 5. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Contractors must complete the Proposed Budget Project Form. The Proposed Budget Project Form must include: A detailed cost breakdown for the following: o Cost per cubic yard of crushed rock and D1 gravel, including delivery. o Mobilization and demobilization expenses. Timeline for material procurement, delivery, and optional placement. Optional: Cost for placement and repair of materials on identified project locations. Any potential cost-saving measures or alternative solutions. 6. ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS Proposals that include completing the placement and repair of the identified project locations will be considered, but this is not a requirement for submitting a proposal. The contractor is responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal regulations related to the transportation, delivery, and placement of materials, including worker's compensation and liability insurance.
