West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia ("WVU" or "University") is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment required for the removal of existing roof related materials and systems and the providing of new replacement materials and systems at the Church McKee Building on the WVU Potomac State College Campus. Required documentation must be submitted under SUPPLIER ATTACHMENTS with Response (Minimum Qualifications, Bid Bond, Drug-Free Affidavit, etc.). Cutoff for Questions DATE: 6/19/2025 TIME: 12:00pm EST The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion. a. Substantial Completion shall be: Ninety (90) days after work commences b. Final Completion shall be: Thirty (30) days after Substantial Completion. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. Liquidated Damages shall be Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and One Hundred and Twenty-Five Dollars ($125) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
