Reference Number 0000387150 The project will include, but is not limited to: Assessing and measuring doorways, corners and lower registers of Aspen Recreation Center exterior siding for replacement; sourcing specific siding to match (in color, texture and gauge) existing undamaged product installed on higher registers of building; provide installation which may include retrofitting, crimping, cutting in transition areas to connect current and new product; securing building with proper trim and flashing and potentially moisture barriers to safeguard from weather exposure. Scope of Work Source replacement material - All sheet metal, trim, flashing should be ordered to replace all damaged panels, corners, doorways, flashing and trim to match current aesthetic in color, texture, gauge and scale. A Morin product is currently on the exterior (EXHIBIT C). Modifications, where necessary, may be required to marry currently installed product with newly sourced materials. Samples should be sent to Procurement preferably prior to proposal closing on Thursday, June 12 th , otherwise no later than 4 days after proposal closing. Assessing areas of weather exposure – to install moisture/weather barriers and present solutions to protect future exposure (solutions may include: placement of staggard seams, thicker trim pieces, etc.) Removal and disposal of damaged material – All metal material is to be taken to the local landfill for recycling. Transporting all replacement materials and equipment to/from job site – Source all material and equipment to job site for custom cuts and fits and clean up/dispose/recycle/store accordingly. Execution of project – Job should be completed by October 1, 2025 before winter weather conditions arrive in Aspen.
