Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Portland, Oregon. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
also known as S Terwilliger Sewer and Lift Station Project. The objective of the project is to correct a failing sewage conveyance pipe by constructing a new lift station located on SW Terwilliger Blvd near SW Northgate Ave. Project will install a sanitary lift station and 32 feet of sewer pipe on S Terwilliger Boulevard just north of S Northgate Avenue. Unstable ground conditions pose a risk of the pipe failing. This project will address this. The project is included in the city's 2025-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of August 21, 2025, engineer originally paused the project but has now completed the design and has a contractor who will begin construction potentially in September 2025. The entire project is anticipated to be complete by July 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
