Site work for a water / sewer project in Portland, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Install 1,230 feet of 8-inch DI main, 160 feet of 6-inch DI main, and 430 feet of 12-inch DI main. 1,150 feet of 12-inch CI main will be abandoned. Additionally, this project will transfer nine services, renew five services, and kill three services. Also, this project will transfer pressure zones for one regulator. 250 feet of the 8-inch DI main to be installed will be installed in a 16-inch steel casing bored under Johnson Creek and SE McLoughlin Boulevard. In FY 2024-25, project is planned to start design. The project is included in the city's 2025-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of August 22, 2025, project is in pre-design, planning phase. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
