Site work and paving for a civil project in Superior, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
In general, the project consists of reconditioning of approximately 1.52 miles of CTH Z from Lyman Lake Road to the ramp terminal with USH 2/53. The work includes grading, base aggregate dense, pulverizing existing pavement, HMA pavement, subbase, curb and gutter, Box Culvert B-16-160, permanent signing, erosion control, traffic control, pavement marking, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. The work under this contract shall consist of Grading, Pulverize and Relay, Base Aggregate, Box Culvert B-16-0160, Culvert pipes, and HMA pavement and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal and contract. Contract Completion Time: November 15, 2025 A single prime bid will be received for the work. BID SECURITY Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of time as specified in the Wis. Dept. of Transportation Standard Specifications. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Contract and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. RIGHTS RESERVED Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
